Paper Submission

General Information

Papers for Organized and General Sessions should describe original research results, not published elsewhere before. The submitted papers are subject to a rigorous peer review process for their technical and practical contributions. All the accepted papers will be published in the conference proceedings.

Authors for Organized Sessions

Both oral and posters presentations will be accepted for Organized Sessions. All paper should be submitted through the Online Paper Submission system. When submitting a paper, one of the session titles should be chosen accordingly by authors.

Authors for General Sessions

Both oral and poster presentations are possible for General Sessions. When submitting a paper, one of 4 presentation preferences (1. oral, 2. poster, 3. oral-preferred but poster available, 4. poster preferred but oral available) will be chosen by authors. The following general sessions are open for authors choice. Authors will choose the 1st and 2nd preferred session titles during the submission.

Paper Types

There are two types of submissions for review and publication. These types of papers should be written in English and submitted in PDF format.

A. Paper for IEEE Xplore Digital Library
Full paper no less than 4 pages of conference format must be submitted for review.
Accepted papers of this type will be included the conference proceedings and will be eligible for inclusion in the IEEE Xplore Digital Library.
Among the papers submitted for IEEE Xplore, the paper rejected due to the low acceptance rate recommended by the IEEE will automatically be converted into a proceeding-only paper.

B. Conference Proceedings-only Paper
Full paper no less than 2 pages of conference format must be submitted for review.
Accepted papers of this type will be included ONLY in the conference proceedings

Over Page Charge

Final paper can exceed the limit up to only 8 pages at a surcharge of USD 100 or KRW 110,000 per extra page.

Registration Policy

At least one author of all accepted papers should make a regular registration for the paper to be included in the final program and the conference proceedings no later than September 30, 2018.

Special Issues

All authors can optionally choose one of the journals for special issue when you submit the paper to the conference. After the conference, the extended version of the paper will be submitted to the journal for the special issue. Your manuscript will be sent to the Guest Editors of the journal and the Guest Editors will handle the review process to recommend the manuscripts to the special issue publication.
